Keeping Older Adults Active & Independent
Emergency Response is available to clients aged 60 and older with a physical disability, providing prompt and compassionate assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from a family member, caregiver, or EMS.
Clients can choose a Home Safe device in either bracelet or pendant form. The LIFELINE system connects via landline or cell phone, and optional features - such as Auto Alert - can automatically detect falls without the client needing to press the button (certain criteria apply for this feature). All alarm activations are monitored and followed by THS administrative staff to ensure timely support and client safety.
Fees for Emergency Response are based on client's Canada Revenue Agency -Notice of Assessment.
